Sculpture crafted in bronze at life-size scale of a set of suitcases, hat and umbrella that pays tribute to the traveler and nods to the migratory processes that led many people to seek fortune outside the Island. Equipaje de Ultramar has a twin work by the same artist -with different arrangement- located at Madrid's Atocha Station The ensemble created in bronze by Eduardo Úrculo, year 2000, is located in what was formerly the plaza de los paragüitas, facing the old municipal dock, now disappeared. It is a tribute to the traveler and perhaps a nod to the migratory processes of yesteryear, when the majoreros departed laden with "magua" and memories.
