Work by Máximo Riol Cimas, in steel and cement, 2001. It is located at the intersection of Avenida Reyes de España with Calle Duero, Calle García Escámez and Carretera de Los Pozos. It represents one of the jewels of Fuerteventura's avifauna: with the scientific name saxicola decotiae, it constitutes an endemic species of the island of Fuerteventura and is therefore included in the Catalogue of Threatened Species of the Canary Islands, with the category of "vulnerable". Its minuscule size is the counterpoint to the colossal aspect that the artist wanted to give to his work.
